Waiting For Fall...

Sometimes you can feel it just a bit in the early morning, or the very late hours of night; cool air! The promise of actual cool mornings and sweater-wearing evenings. We know they're on the way! We've been through this before!!

In the meantime, our Summer hours are coming to an end, our new hours begin Tuesday, September 14th, and are as follows:

Tuesday ~ Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
(Closed Sunday & Monday)

And watch for the return of Third Thursday, beginning in October.

We have lots of new pieces in the shop, both hand-crafted and vintage, and we add to the treasures weekly!!

Le Marche Aux Puces (flea market)

Summer's heat demands a slower pace, and creates the urge to carve out moments of rest; time to meander, daydream, dawdle.



Away for our own summer break, we poked around in antique malls and tucked away vintage shops, outdoor fairs and even neighborhood yard sales.



We return from our travels with an intriguing selection of found treasures, from tiny European porcelain pieces to hard-to-find hotel silver, with a few new (and vintage) furnishings thrown in!

We here at Paris Envy are taking a mini-break. Just a week, mind you! Enough time to fly up out of the heat, visit family and friends, and scout for new treasures, large and small.

Being that the season is almost-Spring around here, people are redecorating, refreshing, and ready for the new and different.
What that means at Paris Envy is that pieces are flying out the door almost as quickly as they come in! And there are some beauties, for sure.

Just arrived back from a fabulous week in NYC, searching for inspiration at the gift show and in every nook and cranny of the city we could get to! New York City is indeed amazing -- the history in every building, every street.
And yet... it became so apparent that we have a treasure trove right here in our own city, in the form of dozens of unique locally-owned shops! You just don't find many small mom-and-pop style places there -- largely due to sky high rent. One gentleman we talked with expressed his anxiety over the monthly struggle to keep his little card shop open and thriving, faced with constant competition from corporately owned chain stores.
So please make some time to celebrate the riches of the furnishings, gifts, clothing and so much more available to you right here in your own home town, no plane ride required! Together we can all make Phoenix a vibrant, exciting place to visit, explore and live.
